The charm and elegance of The Wellesley's splendid interior with its fine art and furniture collection gracing five stories, is a unique setting for elegant dining, luxury accommodation, functions, conferences and extensive recreation facilities. The Wellesley is a magnificently restored heritage building. Designed by William Gray Young in 1927 this masterpiece was awarded a gold medal for architecture. It is regarded as Wellington's finest example of neo-Georgian architecture.
